I’m a millennial who grew up in Midwestern America, specifically Metro Detroit. I have traveled across the country and around the world.

I’ve obtained an (almost) useless degree while living in Chicago, before moving across the country to the Pacific Northwest, where I did two years of service with AmeriCorps. I climbed mountains and hiked miles and miles of trails.

My next adventure was anepic three-week road trip back to Michigan before I began my service as a Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand, where I lived for just over two years. I spent a few months traveling through dream countries and places never dreamed of before returning to the States and making my own Midwestern adventures.

After reacquainting myself with my roots, I accepted a position doing communications for an anti-trafficking organization in Ghana, where I spent the next two years. I then spent a year living and working in Malawi as a Global Health Corps fellow doing communications for an organization that does health education using participatory arts.

After spending all of those years abroad, I decided that it was time to return to the United States. That isn’t stopping me from being culturally curious, though!
